Soy Products

Soybeans are the new, rediscovered health product.

They are available in full fat and low fat, flours, meals or pieces, along with textured or flavored styles.

Natural & Label Friendly - No additives or preservatives are added due to our proprietary processing. Consumers look favorably on soy based products, giving you the advantage in the market place.

Applications - Include but not limited to: egg replacement, milk solid replacement, baked goods, doughnuts, pancakes & waffles, bakery mixes, cakes & cookies, refrigerated & frozen doughs, pasta, fried noodles, and meat extenders.

Pleasant Flavor - Soybeans have a pleasant nutty flavor in roasted products as a result of our proprietary processing. Our texturized soy protein products have a bland taste, with great mouth feel allowing from 20%-30% addition in a typical application. The cost savings stays with your production facility and the consumer likes the health advantages.

Shelf Stable - One year plus, due to proprietary processing.

Emulsification - The lecithin remains in the product which aids in the absorption and binding of water, lowering your finished cost.

The benefits of Soy:

Heart Disease - 25 grams of soy protein a day, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. (U.S. FDA, 10/99)
Cholesterol - Soy protein lowers LDL cholesterol levels.
Cancer - Populations that regularly consume soyfoods have lower incidence of breast, colon and prostate cancers.
Menopause/PMS - Soy phytoestrogens help reduce hot flashes and other discomforts of menopause and premenstrual syndrome.
Osteoporosis - Soyfoods provide bone-building calcium and decrease the loss of bone density associated with aging.
Diabetes - The soluble fiber found in soybeans may help with blood sugar control.
Antioxidant - Soy isoflavones, genistein and diadzein, are powerful antioxidants that protect cells and organs from the damage caused by free radicals.
Excellent Source of Protein, Fiber, Vitamins, and more - Soybeans are high in protein (38% by weight) which has an equivalency to animal protein. Soy is an excellent source of fiber (15% by weight). Soybeans are high in iron, calcium, zinc, B vitamins and vitamin E.
