THE SEED

The laboratories that develop the seed to conform to Favored's output requirements monitor research for the availability of traits in the grain desired by our customers.

THE PLANT

Favored carefully plants, grows, and monitors the best seed in a controlled environment where individual plants are selected to enter the Favored system.

THE SELECTION

Only those plants that are identified as producing the output traits desired by Favored are then planted to create a harvest resulting in the availability of our Favored grain.

THE GROWTH

Our high quality Favored seed is delivered to a farmer who has been pre-qualified to plant our crops. The handling and planting of the seed is monitored by Favored.

THE MONITORING

All Favored crops are audited by the Indiana Crop Association, a third party agency. The Indiana Crop Improvement Association, Inc. exists to deliver unbiased, needed services to customers in the seed, grain, food, and related industries. As a non-profit, self-supporting agency, ICIA objectively carries out various seed programs including seed certification, laboratory testing and other quality assurance programs.

THE HARVEST

The harvesting of our grains is handled by our Favored farmers who are trained and certified to follow set protocols. Additionally, the harvest is monitored by the Indiana Crop Association as a third party auditor.

THE ISOLATION

The perimeter 16 rows of Favored grain in each of our fields is removed and sold as commodity grain so as to ensure the best isolation of traceable Favored grain.

THE STORAGE

Favored grain is stored in Favored holding silos in a manner defined under our strict quality assurance protocols audited by a third party agency.

THE TRANSPORTATION

Favored grain is transported in extra clean containers that are certified kernel clean where every speck of debris is hand removed.

THE SECURITY

Every container transporting Favored Grain is locked tight and sealed with a tamper proof client identity protected seal. This seal is only removed by the client upon delivery.
